¿Una vida no vale nada?
--- Nada vale una vida.
[A life is worth nothing? -Nothing is worth a life!]

Gustave Doré
ilustrador famoso

The majority of the professions listed are provided in the masculine form. The ending may need slight changes, or no change at all to state the feminine forms.
*If ending is
-or
change to
-ora
If ending is
-ro
change to
-ra
*If ending is
-o
change to
-a
* Doesn't necessarily apply 100% of the time.
Words ending in -ico, -ta, -ógrafo, -ólogo, or -nte can be either masculine or feminine, and are indicated with the symbol. That's why you hear "el o la" before the term itself in each case where the appears.

Exercise:
For practice in pronunciation and comprehension, just go straight down the list and listen to (and repeat) as many of the vocabulary words as you can, LOOKING AT THE SPANISH WORD.
You don't even have to worry about "what you're saying."
Just hearing the words over and over, and associating the sounds with the visual presence of the term will ingrain "language ability" in and of itself.
Hey, ... it works!
And you ARE here to learn, aren't you?
